7810WE ALL NEED TO LOVE rather than judge my friends and forgive, forgive and forgive!!! Feels easier said than done at times I know. I do not refer to tragic events in which righteous anger should be felt. In such a case it is tragic not to speak out. I speak of the hurt that others have caused us on a personal level. I have had to do a lot of forgiving over the years and I am sure I needed to be forgiven as well. Strive to fix your mind on elevated thoughts that are true, honest and noble. Have Godly thoughts and do not let your heart be troubled. Leave the past behind. Don’t get stuck over there. The past is gone and we can only learn from it. Our thoughts can elevate others and ourselves or trap us in a prison of our own making. We can invest as much energy into fear as we can faith so choose faith over fear and let go of the pain others have caused you. It isn’t an overnight fix nor is it a one size fits all. 4718Which self portrait do you prefer and which is your fav- colour or black & white? I must admit the concept of a remote photoshoot was completely foreign to me. I was skeptical, but when invited to collaborate I thought why not give it a try. It was organised by the brilliant model and friend @alexb244 at @feeltheframe.studio with photographer Anna Arfen who had already set the studio up. All we had to do was press the remote control during the shoot. It took a few minutes to grasp the idea and get my head around it. I was literally blown away by the quality of the light and final photos. As a professional model once you know the brief from the photographer you then take over and co-create the look, mood and story desired. So we are used to not receiving direction from photographers unless there is something specifically needed. The photographer + creative team consisting of the makeup artist, hair stylist and clothing stylist including a human fashion model are all indispensable and integral to a photoshoot. Nothing can replace that teamwork and finished photoshoot masterpiece, however when it comes down to doing a self portrait I can imagine an artist would happily do a remote photoshoot rather than a phone selfie. . You can’t compare the two. For artists such as dancers, writers, musicians, actors or any other kind of artist it is definitely a great option to beautifully photograph themselves in a visual way that represents their artistry through their eyes.
