2Come Out On The Other Side Spending more time on my own for the first time in decades means more time to think. I love peace and have always done my best to steer away from confrontation and aggression, but sometimes one is forced to face a Goliath that just doesn’t want peace. Some of you have faced your own Goliaths in life. Maybe you have faced more than one Goliath which could be a serious health condition, medical procedures, the loss of a loved one,a broken marriage, broken relationships, oppression in any form or whatever it may be that removes your peace. There is no shortage of Goliaths, but there is also no shortage of great warrior like fortitude and strength that doesn’t surrender. At times you wish you could just run away, or pretend it’s not there, but for one reason or another you can’t. Through the fear you develop coping strategies, managing the attacks and lessening the destructive figurative blows and getting on with life. You don’t have the luxury of letting down your guard for even a moment to rest, recover or process because your Goliath is always present. You don’t have time to ponder or grieve why the Goliath has even appeared in your life. My message to you is do not give up your faith in God in the middle of whatever you are going through. Sometimes these Goliaths are not removed at once, but God will see you through to the end. Sometimes it might feel like God just isn’t there, but God will never abandon you and will sustain you and give you the strength needed and has never left you alone. One day when your Goliath is powerless and gone you will realise that being forced to face it helped you to develop strength, courage and endurance you never realised you had to come out on the other side so that you may be of service to others who might be facing the same Goliath. Shot by Sheila Rock some time ago for a M & S Campaign God bless you all and ❤️ and Light #strength #Goliath #fortitude #dontgiveup

10At 21 and considered older as a model I lived and modelled in every one of those major fashion capitals where models went to “those parties” to meet photographers and clients, but I never attended any of those parties. I was no stranger to clubbing in the 80s and 90s, but with my select group of friends and hardly anyone from the industry unless they were models whom I knew and trusted. From purely a logical stance it made no sense to me to go to these parties. Sadly, I do not doubt that there were many younger vulnerable models who were taken advantage of in this period. They were just too young and were immersed into a highly competitive industry with demanding beauty standards. Many girls suffered from anorexia, bulimia and the insecurity of never being perceived as being beautiful enough. As a model I treated modelling as a business and was always professional. I believed if a client or photographer wanted to book me they would contact my agency and see me and my portfolio during normal work hours from 10-5pm and make their decision to work with me or not. After 5pm my time was entirely my time. I never allowed bookers or agencies to intimidate me like they did the younger models. If I had a bad experience with an agency I just left them to go to another agency. In Japan I was 22 and my flatmate was a 13 year old model. While working I watched out for her like an older sister, but I heard stories. There were alot of younger girls in Tokyo living alone being managed by their agents. The mothers always had to escort their daughters if minors to shoots, but not sure what happened in Japan and what arrangements had been made between the parents and agents. One thing is for sure I never would have allowed my daughter at that age to be on her own so far away in this industry. I was fortunate to have worked with professional modelling agencies and avoided predators in the industry. This was largely due to my age as a model and having boundaries in my work and personal life. I loved being a model in the 80s and 90s, but think now in many ways the modelling industry has improved and values models more and has come a long way since then. ❤️ and Light

0We are the Guardians of All Children and All those who suffer. We can NEVER normalise the brutal and systemic violence and abuse that are happening in the world, not even for one moment. We are the majority not the minority. Every life is precious in the eyes of God and there is no hierarchy of suffering. When one human being suffers we all collectively suffer. No one should be left behind. Please do what you can to help and sign petitions, share posts, use your platform to bring awareness, share hashtags of persecuted victims who stand on trial awaiting executions, please boycott brands that have been found to be complicit in the violent suffering of the innocent, unfollow those who are complicit in the suffering of the innocent. Email your representatives in government. Resignations are not enough. Full accountability and justice are essential. It is time for us all to unite together for the well being of all mankind regardless of political, religious and ethnic backgrounds. If everyone did just one of the above listed things imagine the impact it would have and it may just save lives. We are living in 2026 and there is NO reason why any human being should suffer and lack basic human rights. Please don’t choose comfort over convenience. The world has turned its back on God and it’s really time to seek God if you haven’t already. NEVER GIVE UP. This song is for all the suffering warriors in this world. I pray for God to restrain all evil and expose the darkness. May his mercy and peace prevail over destruction and rescue the innocent in Jesus’s Almighty Name Amen God bless you all Love and Light #protectthechildren #notoexecutionsiniran #humanrights #sovereign #alllivesmatter

6I have always loved bold pieces of vintage jewellery that make a real fashion statement. I can appreciate the genius creativity, the craftsmanship, the originality and attention for detail. When younger and going out on the town I would often dress up in my hats and peplum suits from the 40s. My outfit wasn’t complete without matching accessories, handbags, shoes and coats from that era. To be perfectly honest I love anything vintage. I thought why not enjoy wearing some of these beautiful fashion pieces now! They aren’t reserved for the young. One of my favourite jewellery designers is Stanley Hagler. His pieces were fun and whimsical although what I am wearing is quite a dramatic piece, but some drama seems to suit me from time to time! I am wearing an original Stanley Hagler N.Y.C. matching floral motif shell, seed pearl necklace and earrings. I love sharing this costume jewellery with you and I hope you enjoy it too. A little sweet reminder of my past. #stanleyhaglernyc #vintagejewelry #40sfashion #vintage #jewelry

14Today was a brisk day, but lovely and sunny. Had to pick up a pair of reading glasses from a shop on the high street while discovering that pink Ranunculus now rank high up there with pink Peonies as my favourite flowers. They are so pretty! There’s a short cut I sometimes take, a path where there is an old empty derelict home on the corner, but today was different. The abandoned home had been completely gutted, the interior demolished and the exterior completely renovated. I could hardly believe my eyes. The builders did an excellent job and never would have thought it possible, but someone with vision saw the potential of this lonely abandoned building. The new owner could have completely demolished the whole building and rebuilt a new home on the land as it was in a prime location. Instead the owner saw the beauty in this old building that no one else could see and decided to preserve the original structure and clean up the rest. Dear friends when I saw this I thought to myself and so it is with our Creator God and we, his creation. We have messy backgrounds, but he sees the great potential and beauty in each and every one of us even with all of our flaws. The Lord’s love is beyond measure and He just wants a relationship with each and every one of us. It’s a choice only we can make to follow Christ and once we do is when the transformation happens. God specialises in taking broken people and not only transforms them but repurposes them for something Greater just like that derelict home that was waiting around for years to be treasured and beautifully restored. For you created my inmost being; You knit me together in my mother’s womb I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made Your works are wonderful I know that full well Psalm 139:13-14 Love and Peace #transformation #transformationjourney

12Tragically there has been more harm and misery caused by religion because historically religion has been used to control by those in power. So here’s the thing that most people don’t get. Jesus was not religious. He knew the Torah inside and out and was the fulfilment of the law of Moses. He transformed the law of Moses from legalism to a transformation of the human heart. That’s what Jesus does. He transforms hearts. It’s interesting that when the name of Jesus is mentioned it evokes a range of reactions: love, anger, adoration, resistance. Why? Jesus healed the sick, he performed miracles and fulfilled over 300 prophecies from the Old Testament. His heart and actions were pure, yet he had boundaries. He preached nothing but love to the sick, weary and broken hearted. He fought against the religious system of his time- the Pharisees and Sadducees who were the religious leaders, he flipped tables in the Temple when the worship place of God was desecrated. He hung out with the “ill reputes” of society because they yearned for healing, for freedom of the soul and for a better way. Their eyes were opened and they understood what many could not. He willingly sacrificed his life for all human transgressions, was crucified ,and rose again on the 3rd day. He appeared to his apostles and over 500 witnesses. Those who saw his miracles and resurrection fearlessly believed in him as God incarnate. Jesus never waged war against anyone. His resounding message was of love and forgiveness. His followers were transformed with resurrected hearts even though still under Roman occupation. Jesus was a Revolutionary, the Messiah, not just a good man or a prophet. His mission was never to end the Roman occupation, but to free the heart and soul from occupation. I don’t believe there’s a human being on this earth who isn’t broken to some extent. We are all broken, but if you are weary hearted and it’s peace and healing you search for please don’t put off opening your heart to the possibility of Jesus. Ask God to reveal the truth to you about Jesus and prepare for a love beyond anything you could ever imagine. ❤️ and Light My friends
