It is so so much more for it is written “Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. 1 Corinthians 2:9 You see we were created to have a loving relationship with God our Creator and that empty space we can feel is that void when we only exist in and of the world without God in our lives. Everyone searches in their heart for a relationship consisting of the greatest love and peace ever known even without realising it. The yearning and a desire to really know the greater meaning of life. Wanting to know what our purpose in this world is really all about and if there is really a Creator. No worldly wealth or success can give you that peace and love you long for except Christ. In the stillness search for him with your heart and you will find perfect love and peace. 1008When is the right time to move aside so that others can grow? That’s a really tough question and the more you love someone the more you want to protect them from pain whether it be your child, partner, friend or other family member. Ofcourse it depends on the circumstances, but there comes a time when our perception of caring can become a hinderance to a loved one’s growth. When personal lessons to learn in life are hindered by our over caring even though it is done with the best of intentions. We most likely perceive it to be protection when there is probably a slight aspect of control behind it. We can not always control all circumstances in someone else’s life and ultimately God is in control. We can be there to pray, morally support and unconditionally love, but also as hard as it is sometimes to step aside we are providing that very support an individual needs to develop fully on their own. Constantly trying to shield someone from their own lessons in life more importantly interferes with their personal relationship to God. And then there comes Into play the aspect of free will. The free will of man bestowed upon us to make choices and decisions whether good or bad. Sometimes we just need to let life take its course and may we all have the discernment to know just when the right time is to step aside. How can we learn about life if we are always shielded from pain or discomfort? We would live in a world so far removed from reality and would never develop compassion and empathy for others. But the one who has overcome and conquered pain has a great purpose in this life to prove to others that if they place their faith in God above their fear of their circumstances they too can achieve their own freedom. ❤️ and Light

1579You Are So Beautiful To Me I remember hearing this song for the first time in the 70s as though it were yesterday. There was a talent show of sorts in our high school auditorium and there was a young student who sang this song by himself in front of at least 1000 students. It was so silent that you could hear a pin drop. I have forgotten a lot from the 70s, but I never forgot him singing this particular song. I believe everyone was moved that day and that is exactly what I wanted to remind you of in this post. You are so beautiful and were beautifully created with a purpose. It’s never too late my friends. You never know what amazing opportunities await you. You have so many gifts you haven’t even tapped into yet. Don’t listen to the naysayers for naysayers will always be around. They will try to box you into their perception of reality, but it belongs to them not you. 1858What is true beauty? Beauty is never static, but everchanging. External beauty is only skin deep if missing internal beauty. It’s an empty vessel. Beautifully crafted and decorated on the outside, but missing substance. It is only decorative, but the substance that lies within, now that is of a much greater value. Beauty fades with the years and one can try to preserve it, but is preserved beauty genuine? I always find antiques and paintings more beautiful when they aren’t perfectly restored. It feels like they lose their authenticity when made to appear perfect. There is a deeper appreciation for the visible marks of age which expresses a deeper layer of beauty. There is story and character that comes with age. You can’t improve on something that’s perfect. It’s like doing a remake of a great film. It can’t be done. It’s not the same. You can’t get better than the original, no matter how hard you try. 626What would you think if I told you that you can experience peace in the storms of your life even if the storm rages on? The storm or storms do pass. They don’t last forever. If you feel far away from God during your storm it’s not because God moved it’s because you moved away from God. Everyone experiences pain and some sadly much more than we can ever know. Some people can distance themselves from God while experiencing that pain or some completely shut God out of their lives. I get it pain hurts. There is pain and then there is pain…. Each person’s pain is very real to that individual and we are not in a place to judge their suffering based on our preconceived notion of pain. How can we understand someone else’s pain if we have never experienced it? I never lost my faith in God, but my faith did waver for a few years in the past when I distanced myself from God during a really bad period of physical pain, but here’s the thing. The separation from God and the pain of that separation from God were far worse than what I was going through. I kid you not and as human beings we make good or bad choices by exercising free will. Our entire lives are based on making decisions one right after another. Ultimately everyone is searching for peace, but we often seek it in all the wrong things and in all the wrong places and this is why it never lasts. There is no peace and joy that this world can offer you like Jesus my friends and if you are searching for a peace that never ends search no more for you can find it in the Lord Shot in Paris ❤️ and Light
